It has been disclosed through state administration sources that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is gearing up for an overseas expedition. Scheduled for the middle of September, her itinerary includes prominent Spanish cities Barcelona and Madrid.
During her trip, possibilities of engaging with renowned industrialists from Spain have arisen. Notably, her return journey might encompass a meet with non-resident Indian industrialists in Dubai. The necessary protocols have been pursued, with an application to the Ministry of External Affairs by the Nabanna, the state secretariat.
Subsequently, the central authorities have granted the Chief Minister the permission to embark on this foreign travel.
